here are a couple things to think about:
Crawford TX, endorsing Kerry?
The reason I am not moving to Japan

yeah so i read through Josh Braff's 'The Unthinkable Thoughts of Jacob Green.' I read it in less than 24 hours, and that is not for bragging sake but to illustrate how i could not put it down. it was good, moderately heartwarming and other fuzzy bullshit. i really liked it. i haven't had the time to read, but i made time for this book. you should too, or i will find you...and hit myself with a dictionary.

doing lots of school work. still a tired panda. keeping my head above water though and that is a great thing. yeah, i think it is. i am happy with the work that i am doing, and i am generally happy with the classes that i have. at least, i am as happy as a person can be with classes. i am trying.

it is rainy and that is kinda the mood. though i got a phone call today that made me smile. yeah, i did.

blargh! :)

FUCK BILL O'REILLY

proof yet again that conservatives in the media have no idea what they are talking about. however, i must concede that bill is mildly retarded.

"it is an alex kinda day"

music: trent reznor and david bowie 'hurt' (live)
mood: content
thinking: about voter apathy
doing: school werk
planning: my escape

so, if you are 18 and you are registered to vote you had better vote. if yopu are 18 and unregistered...get to it you lazy bastard. i don't care who you vote for at the moment. what i am concerned with is the fact that we have such a large number of people capable of voting, yet they won't. it is our future, and we remain apathetic. that is annoying. this is a rant. i will stop, when you vote.

ok so here we go:

i have been going non-stop since i started off with classes. six classes was a bad idea i suppose, but that is just what i do. by that i mean i have bad ideas. i know other people that take that many classes and do well with it. i just like to bitch about things. bitch bitch bitch. i am a bitcher. i am good at it what can i say?

so in the news some genious claims there was no superscript 'th' in the 1970s...even though the old typerwriter i have in my house has one and it was made in 1956. yeah...some people like to report 'news' that they make up in their head. we call them conservatives. yeah, i am talking about rush the pill popper. though, i have to say, addictions to pain killers are not funny. i am just a fan of bashing self-righteous hypocritcs.

at the moment, i am addicted to the shins. i heard a song i really liked in 'garden state' which is a good movie that you all should see. it is more about love and waking up from a haze then it is about anything else, and sometimes that kind of movie is just what you need. so, if you are in need and you want something that will make you think, go and see. plus natalie portman rocks when she is doing the whole retarded hair thing for star wars. zack braff is awesome too. for a first time writer/director/leading role he does a KICKASS job.

seff is busy panda these days.

peace and love

today let's not think about the dead and get pissed and blow shit up. that is getting to be an american cliche. perhaps, we as the anti-pop culture popculture can change the pace and think about better things. we can stop sticking out noses and wallets in the affairs of others. 1000 dead american soldiers. countless dead innocent iraqis. i think it is time to stop, evolve and end senseless violence.

fdr didn't run on the platform that pearl harbor was his finest hour
lincoln's concentration point wasn't theatre security
so please stop referring to 9/11 as a triumph of the human spirit
it is a fuck up because of some asshole who took too much vacation time.

well then...i am back from maine...as could be figured. it was nice to go up there before i had to start classes. i was able to rest and clear my head and also soak my back. i am still having trouble bending over. damn back problems now? what is this shit! i am too young damnit. something...yeah.

so i saw 'passions of the christ.' it was worth watching based off the lesson it taught you about humanity. people like to beat up on other people. people like to hurt people based on religious belief. the whole thing is all fucked up. anyone that would kill for a invisible men in the sky is a lunatic in my world. if you talk to yourself you are called crazy, yet if you talk to a god you are just a normal and rational person. oy.

i am reading 'the lucifer principle' again and am realizing that i should pass it out to people. i realized that the first time through and two other people i know have since read it. i need to get a copy for obie and ang. someone remind me of that. no smart ass comments as reminders either. you unoriginal punk.

watched 'the butterfly effect' too. i liked that movie. i also like the chaos theory. i spent a couple hours reading about the chaos theory.

in addition to reading about the chaos theory i spent a good amount of time reading about mithra. mithra is the god from persia that the whol december 25th christmas date comes from, and the term 'the lord's day' for sunday was his too, and the whole 12 disciples and ressurection was his too...hundreds of years before the whole christ story came about. oh well...i do suppose it is all about the sources you use...;):p

you may consider yourself pwned!

got a kickass shirt from shuman. found out chops has the same shirt. vote damn you all. oh yeah, down with the electoral college. that should be on a shirt. anyone out there want to do an art design that can be read from a distance that says that and could be put on a shirt? it would be awesome to have a shirt that said that.

unf unf unf unf unf

i think that is about all i am going to ramble on about for now.

blame it on a black star...the me that you know he doesn't come around much that part of me isn't here anymore...i am becoming.

on my way out
i am going to maine for the remaining time that i have without having to worry about school. i won't have a connection to the net there. i had to kill that account...for obvious reasons. a cookie to the kiddy that guesses the reason i don't have that account any longer. it isn't that hard to figure. so, on my way out i would like to leave a few quotes that i like.

'I came up with a new game-show idea recently. It's called The Old Game. You got three old guys with loaded guns onstage. They look back at their lives, see who they were, what they accomplished, how close they came to realizing their dreams. The winner is the one who doesn't blow his brains out. He gets a toaster.'
-- chuck barris

'Imagine there's no countries,
It isnt hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
No religion too,
Imagine all the people
living life in peace...'
-- john lennon 'imagine'

'You're 32 years old, and you've achieved nothing. Jesus Christ was dead and alive again by 33. You better get crackin'. '
-- jim byrd

here is a little food for thought:

kerry did serve in vietnam. regardless of his record he did serve.

bush has never seen war.

cheney has never seen war.

who has more experience with war? who understands war better?

from now on it is all about peace and love. that is the theme from this point forward. hopefully i can keep going with that. people need to think more about the positive. that is not to say they should ignore the bad things in life. people need to see the bad and then do what they can to fix it. then they can concentrate on the peace and love. that would be a nice world to live in and i think i would move from here to there quickly.
