yeah this is going to be short, i haven't bothered to get the pictures from julie just yet so there isn't too much to post. other than commentary and that would be a shit load of effort considering my lack of rest and need to do a ten page paper. so for now let us leave it with a couple short comments:

kerry definately has the ability to string together a couple sentences and have it turn into something interesting.

bush is retarded. that is a fact.

college kids are the key demographic damnit, respect us and don't elbow me when i walk past you. damn short women in red coats.

history was made tonight

not only did every boston fan get the satisfaction of proving a-rod is a complete bitch and a cheater, but we did something no other team has done. we came from behind and won three straight games. tomorrow we will see something special. end communication.

reflecting

hell of a game last night. proof that being a hardcore fan means being there till the last pitch. it is also proof that ortiz is a fucking god. yeah, deal with it new york. i just wish that jesus would start hitting again. he was doing a good job of catching all those fly balls to the center, but i mean...what should jesus do? hit more. yeah.

the debates are all done, and the huge lead that bush had is gone. it is a tight race again. i do suppose people starting realizing that bush could not string together sentences and keep a central point. also, they started to figure out that he couldn't do anything but attack kerry because he has nothing to stand on at all. look at bush's record...it is the worst economic record in history. don't give me that bullshit about 9/11 and war. other presidents have been through worse and come out with strong economies. in fact war is usually good for an economy...unless you are under the control of bush. anyhow, vote like a thinker.

on a lighter note...a great song is the smiths 'heaven knows i'm miserable.' gotta love the depressing stuff from day in the day.

just something i enjoyed:

so i was lucky enough to be able to spend sometime with someone i love recently. it wasn't a non-stop ride of endless thrills. granted, there were moments of going out and having a good time, but there were counterpoints of relaxation.

anyhow, during one of these moments of relaxation she was clipping things out of magazines. phrases she liked, pictures, comics and anything of interest. she makes collages out of them. i was thinking about it tonight, and i really love that about her. she takes these slogans and things that were meant for other purposes, and she gives them a whole new and personal meaning.

so many people talk about the mindfuck of advertising that we are bombarded with constantly, but she takes these things and invents a new purpose and agenda for them. i dunno, i overthink things sometimes. it was just cute. i enjoy people that have artistic abilities to find a new concept behind something that is otherwise meaningless.

ok, yeah i need to post.

so...kerry won the first debate. just saw the debate between the veeps. yeah cheney displayed his experience. edwards showed his weakness in experience. yup...friday is the next presidential debate. that will be interesting.

also interesting, studies show the higher the level of education you have the more likely you are to be better informed on the issues and the more likely you are to vote liberal. interesting eh?
