In an apparent reference to Hurricane Katrina, Schroeder castigated Washington for liberal, hands-off policies that left it exposed in times of crisis. The Bush administration was widely criticised for its response to the devastating storm.
"I do not want to name any catastrophes where you can see what happens if organised state action is absent. I could name countries, but the position I still hold forbids it, but everyone knows I mean America," he said to loud applause.
goodbye schroeder, now germany is screwed to a conservative leader. france will be next more than likely. then all of europe. fuck it dude, i am moving to the moon.

something i wrote, when the pills wouldn't silence my mind:
When the insomnia sets in a battle begins in the sufferer. While the main affliction is the inability to sleep, there are brief periods when the afflicted is nearly overcome by sleep. This is fine if it occurs at a time normally filled by sleep. If this happens at any point that is not normally occupied by sleep then it presents a unique struggle. No longer is sleep desired, it must be prevented. A person already pushed into deep exhaustion must at this point fight to remain awake. If this person loses at this crucial endevour then the entire sleep cycle is thrown out of gear, which in turn can lead to more insomnia. In laymens terms, stay awake you bastard or you'll be fucked for weeks.
