it is funny how slowly life can seem to be moving, yet how quickly everything can change.
up until about two weeks ago i thought i was on track. i was taking classes i enjoyed, working enough to fill my wallet with some play money, and basically holding everything else together. then i start talking to this teacher i like. she asks me plenty of questions about what classes i have taken and where i would like to end up when i am finished. then, [insert emeril cliche], everything changes, or stays the same depending on how you look at it.
come to find out, the previous advisor i had, was fucking around and giving me completely wrong information. i am completely offtrack with both majors i wanted, and had to drop to a single major. now, with my single major i am still farther behind then i ever thought i could be. i can make up the time and all that, and fill up with the classes i need, but it is going to be a shit load of classes every semester with no margin for error until i graduate. and some summer courses. yippee.
bugger. i don't think anyone reads this anymore so it is more for me to vent than anything else.

ok so tonight was a pretty monumental night. i beat marc for the first time in go. not just beat, i slaughtered. i have 65 to his 23. of course this is with the nine stone handicap. he is about 12kyu though and i am only around 21kyu...so it makes sense that i would have the handicap. piss off...it was a big deal for me. :):):):):)
