From: drax26 - the purple-lipped pass-out artist info Date: 12/31/07 @ 2:55 AM (more) 3,750 doesn't feel like three in the morning it is funny, all weekend i have had something running it was battlestar galactica originally i powered through the first and second season only skipped disc 3 in the first season...that was an accident
now i am on to ghost in the shell: stand alone complex the first season i have yet to find the second season box set at least for a reasonable price
both shows have been running non-stop like a soundtrack to my time here my fortress of solitude two years ago, to the day my life didn't look at all like it does now and i was here doing something very similar hope is a fucked up thing, eh?
From: drax26 - the purple-lipped pass-out artist info Date: 12/31/07 @ 3:02 AM 3,751 another side note to the whole affair: the computer that i am using right now for the internet is the same computer that was brand new to me back then i didn't use it for the internet, i had a work computer for that i brought this one for games, movies and music now it is little more than a connection to the web in fact, i am going to start stripping it down program-wise that way it will be less taxing on the cpu sucker takes about ten minutes to load fully with a gig of ram, i think i can get better results than that

"a poet might die at twenty-one, a revolutionary or a rock star at twenty-four. but after that you assume everything's going to be all right. you've made it past dead man's curve and you're out of the tunnel, cruising straight for your destination down a six-lane highway - whether you want to be or not. you get your hair cut; every morning you shave. you aren't a poet anymore, or a revolutionary or a rock star. you don't pass out drunk in phone booths or blast out the doors at four in the morning. instead, you buy life insurance from your friend's company, drink in hotel bars, and hold on to your dental bills for tax deductions. at twenty-eight that's normal."
