two years back i was struggling to comprehend why the world functioned in the fashion that it did then. it continues to function in similar fashion. and once again i am attempting to reconcile the differences.
i do understand how everything has become a commodity.
literature is supposed to be art. but how can something with a formula, something that can be reproduced by anyone by following a few basic steps, how can that thing have value as art? it can't. it doesn't make sense to me. the origins are important...the cause, the reason. there has to be something behind the creation, something that spurred it's creation. and that something cannot be money. or can it? is money a source of inspiration, or is it a factor in the reason, or is it the reason itself. the accumulation of wealth is not part of the process of creating, unless something has been stripped of the creation.
Man really attains the state of complete humanity when he produces, without being forced by physical need to sell himself as a commodity.
